This strap is designed as an alternative to the usual quick release and triglide strap. This strap is made from 25mm (1") polypropylene webbing to which has been sewn a length-adjusting triglide buckle. On the two ends of the strap are a stainless steel D ring and a plastic snap hook with steel retaining link. The snap hook fits on the D ring to complete the strap. The snap hook swivels to avoid excessive stress on the buckle and the snap hook has retaining link. This link is spring loaded however it requires less strength and manual dexterity to open compared to the conventional quick release buckle design.
